Fuse use precautions:
1, the protection characteristics of the fuse should be compatible with the overload characteristics of the protected object, taking into account the possible short-circuit current, choose the corresponding breaking capacity of the fuse;
2, the rated voltage of the fuse to adapt to the line voltage level, the rated current of the fuse should be greater than or equal to the rated current of the melt;
3, the rated current of the fuse at all levels of the line should be matched accordingly, and the rated current of the previous melt must be greater than the rated current of the next melt;
4, the fuse of the melt should be used as required, and it is not allowed to increase the melt or replace the melt with other conductors.
Fuse inspection:
1. Check whether the rating of the fuse and melt is compatible with the protected equipment;
2, check the appearance of the fuse for damage, deformation, porcelain insulation part for flicker discharge traces;
3, check whether the contact points of the fuse are intact, close contact, and there is no overheating phenomenon;
4. Whether the fuse signal indicator is normal.
Fuse service maintenance:
1. When the melt is fusing, the reasons for the fusing should be carefully analyzed. The possible reasons are:
1) Short circuit fault or overload operation and normal fusing;
2) The use time of the melt is too long, the melt is oxidized or the temperature is high in operation, so that the melt characteristics change and break;
3) There is mechanical damage when the melt is installed, which makes its cross-sectional area smaller and causes error in operation.
2. When disassembling the melt, it is required to:
1) Before installing the new melt, it is necessary to find out the cause of the melt meltdown, and do not disassemble the melt for test sending before determining the cause of the meltdown;
2) When replacing the new melt, check whether the rating of the melt matches the protected equipment;
3) When replacing the new melt, check the burn inside the fuse tube, if there is serious burn, the fuse tube should be replaced at the same time. When the porcelain fuse is damaged, it is not allowed to replace it with other materials. When replacing the melt, pay attention to filling the filler.
